Municipality of Rafina – Pikermi

The Municipality of Rafina-Pikermi is a coastal municipality in Eastern Attica. It covers an area of 41.84 km² and consists of the municipal units of Rafina and Pikermi. According to the 2021 census, the municipality has 22,327 permanent residents, while during the summer period, it experiences significant tourist flows, mainly passengers traveling from the port of Rafina to the Aegean islands.

The port of Rafina is the second largest port in Attica, serving approximately 2 million passengers annually. It also contributes to the commercial, maritime, tourist, and fishing activities of the wider area.
